Now in my 8th Decade, I have done several different jobs and seen many changes in the workplace over those years. Despite my age I realised long ago the significance of the digital age and the role of computers in all of our lives. I also believe that the best opportunities for creating an income are online. That being said, I have yet to make my online presence felt.
My main reason for starting this website is that I am passionate about Classic cars and that I want start a blog about Classic cars, but also help others who may have a passion and want to create an online presence in their own favourite niche.
Contrary to what many people would have you believe, I don’t think it is easy to make a significant presence online. I have started several online courses and failed miserably (I can’t deny that other factors such as a full-time job have not helped matters), one problem of course is in knowing whether the person doing the training is offering good up to date value, or is just wanting to exploit you for as much money as they can (One training course given 5 stars on Trip Advisor has out of date training and an unbiased review suggests that you will only make money by following MLM principles and recruiting others to take the same course!).
After several false starts, I came across one individual who seemed genuine and offered not only a good training package, but also amazing support. That individual is John Thornhill. The key factor however is that it is in my hands, so as I write this in June 2022, I hope that within 12 months I will have achieved my goal of not only establishing my Classic car website, but also learnt how to create an additional income.
